okay, loads to update since my last post and very little time.
(comes with hostel territory)
i finally put an end to the wwoofing experience and met up with a friend in madrid.
stayed 2 nights.
bussed to barcelona.
stayed 2 nights.
missed a flight to rome.
stayed another night in barcelona.
flew to rome where apparently it´s raining 89% of the time-- or maybe only when i´m there.
stayed 2 weeks.
had amazing pasta
and
even better coffee. the best, actually.
saw the pope.
(by the way, did you know that seattle is apparently the coffee capital of the world? says two american guys in italy.)
discovered that americans are possibly the most geography un-savvy nation ever.
arizona girl, germany and russia are NOT the same country. thank you public school system.
flew to barcelona to meet another friend.
"slept" in the airport to fly out the next day to granada.
and here i am.
it´s freezing cold and raining.
not exactly mecca, but it´s still europe, so im not complaining.
i fly home on tuesday.
emotions are mixed, but i am happy to be returning and i look forward to seeing my lovely family and friends.
eggnog and apple cider, here i come.
